This half-day sea kayaking experience takes place in coastal waters that can change quickly with wind, tides, and weather. While the trip is designed to be welcoming to all skill levels, participants should be comfortable spending several hours on the water and able to follow basic safety instructions from the guides. All kayaking equipment is typically provided, including kayak, paddle, and personal flotation device (PFD), which must be worn at all times. You should dress for the conditions—layers are recommended, along with sun protection, a hat, and footwear that can get wet. Bringing water, snacks, and any personal medications is advised. The paddle will move at a relaxed, steady pace with breaks to rest, learn, and take in the surroundings. Wildlife sightings are possible but never guaranteed; participants are expected to respect marine life and follow leave-no-trace principles. Because this journey takes place in culturally significant ancestral waters, guests are asked to be mindful, respectful, and open to learning from community members who share their stories and knowledge. Trips are weather- and tide-dependent and may be adjusted or rescheduled for safety. Your guides’ decisions on the water are final and made with the well-being of the group in mind.
