This hands-on traditional salmon fishing experience takes place in natural waterways where conditions can vary with weather, tides, and seasonal fish runs. Participants should be comfortable being near or in water and able to follow safety instructions from experienced guides. Traditional fishing equipment and techniques will be demonstrated and used. You should dress appropriately for outdoor conditions—layers, waterproof outerwear, and sturdy footwear that can get wet are recommended. Bringing water, snacks, and any personal medications is advised. The experience moves at a pace that allows for learning, practice, and cultural storytelling. Fish catches are never guaranteed, as we work in harmony with natural cycles and respect traditional fishing practices. Participants are expected to respect the water, wildlife, and follow leave-no-trace principles. Because this experience takes place in culturally significant waters, guests are asked to be mindful, respectful, and open to learning from community members who share their knowledge and stories. Trips are weather- and season-dependent and may be adjusted or rescheduled for safety or to align with natural fish runs. Your guides' decisions are final and made with the well-being of participants and respect for the ecosystem in mind.
